Hallo there everyone!
Just a few updates for you all! First, I entered an online juried competition not too long ago, and while I didn't placed, I received a special merit award, and had my art featured at the Light, Space and Time Gallery online! There was over 900 participants from all over the world so I was really stoked to be recognized. Hooray! Video here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=KU2EdU…
and gallery here: www.lightspacetime.com/all-wom…
It is looking like I will be featured in the very first edition of Quixotic Magazine, which is an up and coming local art magazine. Super excited to be a part of that project! You can go check out their facebook page here:www.facebook.com/pages/Quixoti…
I believe that there will be an online version available, so I will post that link when it is released in March.
I will have "Under the Water and Dreaming" and "Where the Wild Things Are" on display at the 4th Annual Art of Painting Conference at UC Davis. Very thankful for a former art teacher for turning me on to that sow. Details are here: www.natsoulas.com/2013/01/27/4…
Here is what has been blowing my mind lately:
This guy deserves your attention:
This ain't no cosplay. He's got a full blown metal/armor shop in his garage. If you can dream it up, he can hammer it into steel.
Nen's work on the Shinobi Clans for Posthuman Studios will rock your socks right off. Prepare to be sockless my friends. I bought a few of her prints over the holiday and they are absolutely gorgeous.
Plenty of lovely detail and not enough views on this piece from
And lastly, I have prints available of most of my watercolors. All monies go towards paying off debt and funding art supplies. But mostly the debt. I should have been a dentist.
Anyhow, prints are as follows:
5"x7" $8
8" x 10" $15
8.5" x 11" $20
11" x 14" $25
Buy three and you get one free. Mostly because it rhymes.
What I have available:
If interested, just send me a note. I have some of my original oils/acrylic paintings for sale also, just let me know if you are interested.
I hope you all are well, and have a wonderful day!

Change
Change.
But start slowly, because direction is more important than speed.
Sit in a different chair, on the other side of the table.
Later on, change tables.
When you go out, try walking on the other side of the street. Then, change your route, walk calmly down other streets, observing closely where they take you.
Take a different bus. Change for a while the style of clothes you wear; give away your old shoes and try to walk barefoot for a few days, even if it’s just indoors.
Spend a whole afternoon strolling about freely, listening to the birds singing or the noise of cars,
Open and close drawers and doors with your left hand
Sleep on
